Renzo Masi - Il Bastardo Rosso Italiano

A Sangiovese-based red wine from Tuscany, crafted in the Rufina area just outside Florence in the Sieve River Valley. Il Bastardo delivers aromas of black cherry, cedar, underbrush and pencil shavings, with flavours of cherries, chocolate, orange zest, fig and raisin on the palate. Supersoft tannins and medium acidity make this an easy-drinking and satisfying Tuscan red.
