Well-loved throughout the Northern United States and Canada, walleye is widely regarded as one of the best tasting freshwater fish available. The walleye has been a staple in the Great Lakes and Canadian lakes for generations, popular as both as both a commercial and sport fish because of its dining appeal. 

Fine-flaked walleye fillets are revered for their thickness and succulent, sweet, mild flavor. While pan-fried walleye is a traditional preparation, walleye are delicious when sauteed, baked, grilled or prepared just about any way you can think of.
