Yangarra Estate King's Wood Shiraz is an exceptional single-vineyard expression from McLaren Vale, South Australia. Grown biodynamically on North Maslin Sands at 180 metres elevation, this wine is native-fermented in open fermenters and aged 12 months in French oak. The result is a wine of wonderful concentration with intense dark fruit, bright spice, and supple tannins. Notes of blackberry, dark plum, chocolate, and licorice unfold on the long, persistent finish. Winemaker Peter Fraser's mastery shines in this remarkable Shiraz.
