Augey - Bordeaux Rouge

A Bordeaux Rouge from Augey, blending 75% Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bordeaux appellation in France. The nose is fresh and young with aromas of red berries, plum and herbs. On the palate, bright and lightly-smoked red currant and berry fruits dominate, with plum-skin texture and firm tannins leading to a fruity finish. Elegant and velvety with a classic Bordeaux character, enjoyable now or with two to three years of cellaring.
