This public domain WPA Poster Division images from the Library of Congress, created by American illustrator Arlington Gregg, are a delightful glimpse into his work. Gregg died in 1964 after a long career shaped by abstraction and modernism in Chicago. He also seems to have had a particular affection for books—and a belief that they deserved to be treated rather well.
